  • Accountable for directing a portfolio of programs, performance improvement projects, and services that create both short and long-term value for and executing those projects to achieve desired results.
  • Utilizes data and operational improvement methodologies to answer questions and influence decisions and ensure that projects are delivered within the predefined scope, quality, and time requirements.
  • Documents and recommends workflow changes, functional requirements, specifications, and design solutions needed to support the clinical and business requirements for common and moderately complex problems.   • Tactical/Operational Guidance
  • Advises CNOO/Executive/Senior leadership on tactical/operational projects as assigned, and effectively influences leaders to achieve strategic, financial and operational objectives associated with health care redesign
  • Guides and directs regional and local leadership and clinical teams in a multi-disciplinary environment to implement transformation goals and objectives with the overarching focus of improving patient outcomes, enhancing care process, and gaining operational and financial efficiencies.
  • Engages principles associated with strategy and planning, execution and sustainability, transformation, integration and convergence, revenue enhancement and expense reduction.
  • Strategy and Vision
  • In collaboration with the CNOO and team, works to determine the strategy and vision, specifically with focus on identifying opportunities to reduce variation, fostering and establishing process and data standardization, implementing industry best practices and significantly improving the workflow, operations and financial health of the respective business units.
  • Serves as a strategic thought partner to CNOO in service line optimization initiatives.
  • Coordination/Communication Strategy
  • Development and enhancement of associated complex communication strategies, process redesign and implementation as needed.
  • Facilitates and orchestrates activities, to assist in problem identification and resolution, consensus building and mediation. Additionally, assists in identifying and evaluating good practices, both internal and external; utilizes existing venues to foster information sharing and transfer.

  • Education: Master's Degree in Health Administration/Business Administration or a related field required.
  • Practical experience in the use of multiple support, EHR and ERP solutions as well as reporting tools to manage frontline business and clinical workflow processes. This includes a strong understanding of process design and data management.
  • Demonstrated strengths in strategic business assessment, lean process improvement, project management, operations management and business planning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact efficiently with all levels of co-workers, providing leadership, development, influence and problem resolution.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to include facilitation of group discussions/ presentations and communication of complex information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Innovative entrepreneurial spirit possessing the ability to identify and illuminate improvement opportunities along the complete operational continuum.
  • Self-motivated problem solver; approaches projects, problems and issues in a logical/systemic manner; research issues to the lowest level to secure answers and resolve issues decisively.
  • An excellent team player treating everyone as a valued individual who seeks out and addresses customers' needs while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
